Thanks for taking the trouble to post the photos. The only 'issue' I have is with the height of the speakers from the ground if they above the ear level (when seated) then IMO they are too high. Just a slight quibble I know, otherwise well done and thanks. again.
I'm sure others may take another view.
yes i agree way to high i am moving in 20 days had to put them that high to make sure they worked for holding the speakers. once moved they will be level with the tv cant wait till that happens!
hey Taylor T
These look like a fairly simple and sturdy solution. I have a pair of these bad boys for years now and i love them, but i also have three cats. the speakers were wall mounted on flimsy brackets earlier but then one of my cats decided to make the left speaker her bed, and i was afraid it would wobble and fall. so i'd kept both speakers on the floor for a long time, but been looking out for a solution like the one you've cracked.
just one question, can these mounts take the weight of the speakers and not complain? coz they do weigh a ton. are yours holding up alright? if they are indeed, i'm gonna go get me some wall mounts.
thanks.
Yes they have held up nicely, and yes they take the weight just fine i have a 26lb cat who jumps on them from time to time and they dont move at all. I also put a 80lb weight on the mounts i made and it held it just fine for over a month. I also put them on the mounts and kept tapping the speakers left and right up and down to see what would happen if someone would of run into them by mistake and no problem at all. my last test was pulling down on the mounts as hard as i could by hand and not even a crack or sound made. so all in all very very happy with these i made no worries at all with them on the wall. They cost me $45 Total. If you have any questions on them or what i used feel free to ask!!!
