Dear admirers of the B&O brand

I want to share experience of customization Beovision 8-32

It is known that model 8-32 was produced as rather reduced the price TV model in two colors - black and white, at the same time was positioned as replacement of the well-known CRT's MX series. Once again considering the vintage catalog of the B&O equipment to me the idea to customize this TV by replacement of color in the spirit of last series has come.

Technically the task has appeared not such idle time. First, for normal painting of a frame it was required to remove an IR-eye to paint over a joint and it was equivalent to manufacturer. Secondly, for painting and a primer it was necessary to remove carefully an old covering color which doesn't give in to solvent, and acts mechanically scraping. Thirdly, on models 8-26 and 8-32 the grill isn't removed (only in model 8-40 it on magnets) and to paint a frame and adjunctions of a grill to her, it is necessary to stick carefully with a painting adhesive tape all surfaces and cracks.

With pleasure I will listen to all opinions as positive as well as negative. As necessary, I will share experience.

In plans to paint in the same way the second TV 8-26 blue color (by a perfect analogy in color of the B&O catalog)

Yeah, the result is very impressive !

This is what B&O should have done for the release of this product. More color, not only boring black or white.

Colors like these can bring old products back to life, make them interesting again.
