I just got a Beogram 2400 (the rectangular older 1902 style one, with a single button inside the cover and flat front), and it was very cheap because it had a few flaws. As can be expected for "very cheap". And while I've got them mostly ironed out, one remains: for about a quarter of the rotation, there is a dry metallic scraping noise. No matter how much & which way I adjust the 3 screws under the platter, the scraping remains, from all the way "stiff" to so-loose-the-whole-platter-bottoms-out-all-the-way-around. Bent/weak spring maybe? I'm perplexed.
