Beogram 2000 type 5240 & 5244 compatible?

Hi,

I have an beogram 2000 type 5240 that needs a lot of attention. Because there aren't a lot of loose partdealers out there I have my eye on another beogram 2000 and I'd like to unite them to one good beogram. Possibly that is a type 5244, are these to in parts/mechanics and dust covers compatible to each other?
