I was sitting here listening to my BeoLab 17s and BeoPlay A9 today. I can't decide which one I enjoy more! They are both such great speakers. The A9 is so beautiful and unique, has a really balanced sound and that strong bass! The 17s have an awesome soundstage, surprisingly powerful and really offer a full sound. They surprise me every time I turn them on!

Just wanted to share. :) I would be curious if some of you have both speakers and what your thoughts are.

I have neither but have always admired the A9

Nor do I have a TV over a door lintel, but as I think it's not a BV it's a moot point Big Smile

I was just about to ask if it doesn't give you a crick in your neck!

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

The TV is in my bedroom so it's a great angle to watch TV while lying in bed.  It was there was there when I purchased the house so couldn't covince myself to swap it for a B&O...  :)

I have the A9- and i think its a beautiful sound system - i get so much pleasure when i crank it up

I don't have the 17s as they weren't around when i bought the Lab3s (with encore).  If they were I would have.  I saw them in the store the other day and i think they look beautiful.
