Hello all.

Needed some advise. When i switch on my BV7, My Beolab7.1 gives no sound. It is connected to the mains separately than the tv. So i moved the plug and it started working. Then after a few days, i turn on the tv, but no soind. So i wiggle the plig, but nothing. Then i disconnected the mains as i thought maybe the wire had broken from inside. All this while tv is still running and when i connect the new mains cable and turn on the power, it comes on for about half a second and then turns off. I have to disconnect the mains for a few miniutes and then same thing. Turns on for about half a min and then off. I checked all drivers for being shorted out seperately, but all are ok.

Any advise on why this is happening would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

It is probably the power supply that is failing. I had this happen on mine, it started with pops in the sound, and then got worse.

Had the power supply changed, and then it worked fine again :)

There is a smal LED in the connections bay on the back, it is under a rubber plug. It will show green or orange depending on if it is on or not.
