Hi... One of my LC2's in my livingroom, has begun jo just turn off the light by itself.

It suddenly dims the light(like pressing light+stop), and then it can be turned on again(light+light). After some time, it dims again, and this can be repeated some times.

After x times, it will not turn on again, until it has been off for a while.

Is there a protection circuit that turns off if it gets to hot, or is this perhaps just a bad solder somewhere ?

Hi,

there is indeed a thermal protection in the LC2.

So i guess tere might be thermal problem with the dimmer.

It's a NTC with 100K which should be mounted in such a way that it has thermal contact to the cooling plate / heatsink .
