as the new price table lists the Avant NG with DVB T2/C/S2 HEVC has anyone thought about the possibility of changeing the reveiver of an old Avant to this new option?
would this be possible?

There is no seperate receiver/BeoSystem with those specs.
Besides, the system in the Avant is a built-in one.
There are other differences Avant/Avant NG than merely the system - bluetooth antenna etc etc.

I thought that The avant was made of lets say modules which could be exchanged oder necessary (eg broken); it would have been easy to replace any of them like the upgrade of a beo5 to a beo6 by replacing The screen...

You can simply buy the Nvidia Shield and add it to the old Avant's as STB controlled by PUC - which is actually better as you not only get 4k with YouTube, but also Netflix (removed from the last SW update of the 14/Horizon/Avant NG) in 4k.

Of course the Nvidia Shield is is an excellent device/possibility to have 4K content on the Avant, but it does not catapult it into an Avant NG.
There are many differences there - some for the better, some for the worse.
However, whether these (better) differences are worth it to change to a NG version, is highly debatable.
There are those, who think, that it would be better to stick with the current Avant ;-)
A pity though, that we will have to choose between a Nvidia Shild device and a 4K BluRay player with the current Avant ;-(

well, I thought you were going to ask ;-)
There are several differences - a new and more powerfull engine, dual tuners with easy usb-recording, bluetooth instead of ir for remote controlling (easy update and syncronizing of the remote/the tv, support for Google Cast, updated HDMI-ports amongst the better.
A changed UI with focus on the AndroidTV platform and no easy access to connected (local and networked sources), no netradio built-in, no support for NL (as of today) amongst the worse (IMO).

Is that so? So you are not able to join NL sources from the Avant 75 NG (and vice versa)?

First of all, there is no Avant NG yet.
But assuming, that the same sw version would be on it....if there were any, there would be no NL support.
However, I guess that this will be solved, before the Avant NG hits the shops.
