Beocenter 7700 sound fault

Hi to all ,Iv'e just sorted out the sitting room and on setting up my loved beo 7700 ,got half way through gimme shelter on vinyl it just seemed to loose sound on touching stylus there is still sound coming from the stylus but not from vinyl any info would bre much appreciated cheers in advance Shaun

Hi Again to all dis regrade my first post on trying again found it is the stylus (mmc4),would like to know which stylus are compatible and if any body as a one for sale cheers again Shaun

The only compatible styluses are the B&O series MMC 1 to 5. They are quite expensive to buy second hand these days -the prices are often redicoulous. And you must remember, they are 18+ years old. So maybe it would be better/cheaper to get it repaired/retipped by a specialist (e.g. www.schallplattennadeln.de) .
Or buy a new from www.soundsmith.com  (they also do retipping/repairs).
