Looks like these speakers have taken a couple of design cues from BeoLab 9, and they've also received some good reviews for their sound quality. Aimed for a different market, of course:

Being a 3-way speaker with dedicated DSP, perhaps worth a listen as computer speakers. Bluetooth makes them compatible with portable devices, and the optical-in is an interesting option.
In my opinion, B&O needs a new entry-level speaker to replace the BeoLab 4, which is not amazing sonically. If B&O would take the speakers from Beosound 8 and sell them as standalone active speakers, they'd blow BeoLab 4s out of the water...

B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
They look crazy! In a good way. I bought these as a present for a friend and they sounded great in her apartment - incredibly good for the price (about £60)

There is definitely something BeoLab-ish about them (asides from the price).
