I'm thinking a pair of anc over-ear headphones?
Hero71: I'm thinking a pair of anc over-ear headphones?
Yes, you can see them briefly in the promo video - they look quite big?
I think I missed that, where can I find that video?
I see, the video is not playing on my mobile but it is on the desktop computer. I think they are the same size as the H6/H7 and certainly don't hope they are smaller, my ears need to fit in ;-)
From what I see I guess they are more an update than something really new... At least I hope that the bluetooth connection will be strong and stable this time.
Pretty sure it's the BeoPlay H9.

Must be. I wrote in another post (look for the "Beoplay H9"-thread) a couple of weeks ago that they were suddenly available on Amazon, with picture and everything. They look exactly like H7. The only thing telling them apart is the little microphone for the ANC, similar to on the H8. I think that page on amazon has since been removed or hidden, but it was there, with picture, price and everything. Two colours, black and argilla bright. I have screenshots, but I can't find out how to post them on this forum... :-p On amazon it said "this item is due to be released december 15th".

I've read your post Henrik and thank you because earlier on, I was looking into over-ear anc headphones and tested 3 models from another brand. I was really hesitating to buy one because I was not entirely convinced about the sound and your post made it that much easier for me not to go forward with it
I do hope they brought the H9 up to par with with the competition in this category. Products like the Sennheiser PXC-550 and the Sony MDR-1000x have a very smart (and handy) feature called "talk through". It pauzes the music and turns off the ANC and it allows external sounds in through the external microphones. It's a brilliant feature that I found very handy at the office as opposed to taking the headphones constantly on and off whenever someone tries to talk to you.

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
