Hi AS, I absolutely love your pics! The silver framed BV11 works beautifully with the BL12's.

I also really love your speaker fret - would you have time to answer a couple of questions?

Did you use a specific acoustic fabric?

Did you just remove the original material and stretch/glue your custom fabric?

Any advice for someone trying that for the first time?

Great job :)

Today I was given a Beolab 5000 amplifier as a "thank you" for a favour I gave. It had been used on a school and is therefore missing the Volume slider, two buttons are chipped and the wood cover is very scratched - the front panel is fully intact. The bass slider doesn't work, but the amplifier is otherwise fully functioning. I see why people tend to like the sound of it. This is going to be a near-future project!

Indeed - I would be quite happy with a Beogram 3000 Thorens, but the Beogram 4000 is almost period correct with the same "by appointment to the Royal Danish Court" and pregnant B logo. I have also run out of shelf space again... Need to get rid of a Kustom valve guitar amplifier before proceeding Laughing

Here is a picture of a room redesign in progress. Walls have been repainted to new colors.  Blue wall did not turn out quite as painter and I had envisioned and might be changed to slight grayer shade. New furniture is ordered and rug will be unrolled when it arrives. I am trying to decide if I want to replace the 9s with with 5s, 5s are on loan from dealer.

My blue speakers went well with the old wall colors, but not the new. I am trying to decide between white and black. Any thoughts? t

Seconded. They would stand out nicely against the darker background (but still not "in your face" way). With the colours as in the picture, the black 5's look a bit as if they were sulking.

Thanks Lars!

Yes it is Georg Jensen candle stand. They sold it in stainless steel in the Masterpiece collection during a period. Silver would be too super expensive :)

A very nice colourful setup. A very good choice which gives you a very good sound.

Are your Beolab 4 speakers (the white ones near the couch) powerful enough for the BL9?

Enjoy your set up.

Nice to see a LC2 too.

How did you connect your BC2 to all of your speakers, because there is no Masterlink on the BV11?

Dear Beofan53

Both Beolab 4 are meant for connection with my IMAC which is in my office upstairs. Sometimes I also connect them with the BV11 to get a surround experience!

As we sit down very close to the Beolab 9 it is nice that you can fit the power in the TV.

The BC2 is connected with the TV by means of a ml convertor [to see on the picture: the equiment with the bevel edge].

We just use the BC for analogue radio in ktichen and sleepingroom.

Now I am digitalising my dvd's and cd's for the Apple TV.

This is not a very good photo, just a quick one taken with my iPhone. I recovered my 9s in white today from the former blue as part of my room redecorating. As I can not get a white front for the 7-4, I am trying to decide between silver which is what the BV7 is, black, (new furniture in room will be a mix of black leather and white leather), or possibly just using the spare gray front I have, which is sitting in front of the speaker in this picture. Any opinions on the best color for the 7-4?

BL9 in white looks awesome! I would go for either black or silver. Think silver would look best.

Congratulations to a great setup Smile

Raz I'd go with the grey in the picture. As it blends in with your wall colour it makes you 9s stand out and have the focus on them.

Great Wall colour :-)
