au contraire, paolo!

at the same place the BeoLab´s 4000 were attached close to the wall for nine years and they are now in the bedroom at the wall also with distance-pieces and it seems as they need the air to breathe. they sound so much better now, at least in my opinion. and the 12´s seems to kind of floating when the led-stripe is on in the evening

that are spacer rings (german: Distanzhülsen) between the wall and the original B&O brackets. I hope it´s allowed to post the amazon-link, if not I apologize in advance:

If you for the most part are going to use it stationary, you should definitely go for the BS2.

Maybe you should wait for the coloured ones to come  ;-)

because there will never be an AND in using them. it's too uncomfortable to me to start the Avant etc. just to listen music for fifteen minutes

Exactly the reason my A3 sits on the sideboard in the dining room in between my Masterlinked BL8000s with the Spotify app up on the screen. Takes one touch to get music, as opposed to turning the ML system on, selecting Spotify or iTunes, making sure the Playmaker is selected. Better sound that way, but sometimes I just want music fast for cooking in the adjacent kitchen or such. Good to have both options.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

My stereo amplifier 'Jjaz IP 205 kw Stainless' with 2 x 500 ASP ICEpower
modules have now run my BeoVox Penta front speaker since April 2005
and have only been without power for our vacations.

I still can't upload photos on my iPhone

I bought an essence yesterday on the spur of the "moment" and have connected it to my lab 3s I weren't using.

It's nice being able to select them from the beomusic app.

As a test I did use the receiver 1 with the lab 3 and created a speaker group with the avant from the other room.

I was surprised that the WISA signal could be sent that far with no loss.

The issue is that if I wanted to increase the volume to this room I couldn't I would have to turn the avant volume up or use the BeoRemote app. But then I didn't want to increase the volume of the avant just the lab 3 so hence the essence.

@Aussie Michael

You don't have to turn up the volume of the Avant - if you have created a Speaker Group with the BL3's exclusively, only the sound there will in-/decrease.

But you will have to be in reach of the ir of the Avant to do this.

Adding an Essence is a much better solution - but also an expensive.

It's good to have a sufficient big shopping trick or treat bag ...

And here is a solution for my essence remote lacking a table stand. I invested in a fine piece of wood (a demo piece donated by a carpenter), two screws and four small soft plastic nipp... supporters.

With this autumn weather outside I thought it would be a good idea to post some of my B&O items. Wink

I am studying, and therefore most of my items are bought secondhand.

In my bedroom i have a BeoVision 8-26 connected to an AppleTV via HDMI. The BeoVision is mounted to BeoVision 6 floor stand, with a bracket I made myself. It is placed on a BeoVision 3 cabinet.

I know I maybe should have cleaned my desk, but what the heck.. Who has a clean desk...

The lamp is cardbox-design from IKEA controlled by an LC2. My music system is a BeoSystem 2500 with BeoLab 2500s.

My nightstand with a BeoTime alarm clock. The BeoTime wakes me up in the morning to the bright sound of the BeoSystem 2500.

And now to the Livingroom. I am living in a big apartment, with 2 girls and another bloke, but so far I haven't got any complaints about placing a huge 50" Plasma in the Livingroom Lets have a Party !!!.

It's a BeoVision 4-50 Full HD mounted to the floor stand of an old BeoVision Avant. Placed on the main cabinet of a B&O F1000 furniture. The Speakers are 2 BeoLab 8000s for stereo and a small BeoLab 4 as center. The brain behind it all is a BeoSystem 3 placed behind the screen.

A young bloke in his early 20's with an expensive hobby..

Present:

Beovision 4-50 Full HD, Beosystem 3, DVD2, Beolab 8000 MK2, Beolab 7-2, Beotime alarmclock, Beosystem 2300, Beolab 2500, Beovision 8-40, Beosound 8, Beo5, Beo4 DTV

Sold:

BeoMaster 7000, BeoVox RL7000, BeoCenter 6-23 DVI, Beolab 4, B&O F1000 furniture, Beovision 8-26

I'm a bit concerned that you have the smoke detector placed on the tv stand in the first picture.

Should be placed on a wall close to the ceiling. Just a piece of friendly advise.
