Just purchased a Beogram 3404 and the when the record starts, the tone arm comes down on the record but falls off as it need to be adjusted more to center. Any thoughts on how to do this easily?

You can take off the platter and then the black plastic sheet from the sub-platter. The starting point for 30cm and 17cm must be adjusted separately. Service manuals can be found in the net. There is one fitting for Beogram 2200, 2400, 3400, 3404, because the mechanic is all the same. The adjustments for the size is on page 11.

Thanks! The documentation is not clear on how to pull the platter off. Any thoughts?

The platter lifts right off.
It may bind a little though.

Don't pull the spindle! Lift the platter from the edge. The black 45 adapter is fixed to the subplatter.

Thanks! I very much appreciate your assistance and was able to adjust both 33/45 needle drop positions. I did happen to notice a dial on the inside of the deck which increases/decreases a lighted number -5 thru 5+ ... any idea on what that is controlling? I didn't see anything about it in the documentation.

Thanks again for your assistance, greatly appreciated.
