Hi

I have a Beovision Avant in the living room with a few speakers connected to it via powerlink.

I have recently purchased a Beosound Moment for the same room and have no speakers connected to it and set it up so it thinks it has wired speakers.

I can start playing something on the Moment without hearing anything and then use the BeoMusic App on my iPhone to "link" the Avant to the Moment and then the Avant switches on and starts playing the music out the speakers.

Is there any way for the Avant to switch on automatically and start playing the music without having to go on my iPhone and the BeoMusic app?

P.S. During the Moment's initial setup, there was an option to add TV speakers and I tried all sorts to get this going but the Avant would not show up on the Moment.

Please help.

Thank you.

K

Hi Kiran,

when you look at the 'Source List' of your Avant-tv, do you see the sources of your Moment as connected sources (these have a 'link' icon before their names).

Can you activate these/the sources of the Moment by clicking one of these entries?

If not, you probably did not activate Product Integration feature in the tv menu yet!

See Page 77 in the User Guide of the tv. (This can be found on the B&O website.)

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Hi

I have come home and checked this.

Yes the sources from the moment are in the Avant's sources list. I can select one of the sources and music starts playing from the tv speakers and other speakers connected via powerlink to the Avant.

I would like for the Avant and other connected speakers to automatically switch on when I select a source from the Moment.

e.g. Everything is on Standby. I walk in my house and press the pattern play button. This should automatically switch the Avant and music should play from it and the connected speakers.

You have solved the problem in finding the Moment's sources on the Avant's source list. I no longer need to use the BeoMusic mobile app.

But I am still having to switch to the source using the Beoremote One. Yes I can shortcut the source to one of the profile buttons but is there a way for this to switch on automatically?

Thank you.

Do you have speakers connected to the moment?

If yes, then you may need a BeoLink gateway to work these macros.

Good news with a blgw is it opens up a whole lot of options going forward.

Hi

There are no speakers attached to the Moment directly.

I did initially set it up to make it think it has wired speakers connected to it otherwise it does not let you progress the setup.

I have managed to go into speaker settings in the Moment and found the Avant under "Use Television Speakers". I could not find the Avant before during initial setup but it seems to show up in the drop down list now. By doing this, it has also grouped the Avant and Moment as 1 product in the BeoMusic App when it comes to Beolink Multiroom control.

Then the Moment advised to set the Quick Start Timer on the Avant so it switches on automatically when the PLAY button is pressed on the moment.

It all works perfect now!

I can walk in the house. Press PLAY on the Moment. The Avant switches on automatically and music starts flowing through the Avant speakers and other speakers connected to it via powerlink.

Wicked!
