I recently unearthed my Beogram 1203 from storage, keen to revive interest in my  vnyl collection. Its in great shape, untouched for twenty years. I re slung the belt and turned it on.. it hummed in a way I'm sure no hi fidelity fan would tolerate, and did little else.

I wonder if anyone can help? I'd love to get it working again, even if the eventual aim may be to sell it. Much as I'd like it, without matching speakers and amp, I am unlikely to appreciate its finer points.

I suspect there is very little wrong with it. It looks immaculate. I also have a spare pick up, unused, still in its packaging which I gather can fetch quite a bit these days. I'm based in London.

It looks like I am not going to fix my Beogram 1203. I wonder if anyone would like to purchase it for parts.? IT looks immacutate. I also have an unused spare cartridge. I can provide photos on request
