Hi!
I got one mission in life, I want to be able to press play on a BeoGram via newer gear, ideas? Currently got a Beogram 3000 tangential turntable which had been new in box until I got a hold of it , I love it but would willing to change based on answers.
Possible?

BV14, BV10, BeoGram 3000, 4500, BS 9000, Moment, Core, Ouverture, Essence, Beo6, BROneBT, BeoTime, ML/NL, BLGW, BeoLab 2, 11, 18, CX100, BeoPlay A6, M3, E8/H3/H8
On page 11 there is a suggestion for just that for the 6500 system. http://beointegration.com/uploaded/Idea_Catalogue_v3.2.pdf
Not sure if you can make it work with your bg 3000 and a bm 5000/5500 too, by adding an ir code converter.
The Beogram uses Datalink for its remote and has no IR. The control is done by the Beomaster. The older MCL equipment however has a socket for the Beogram which has Datalink so might be a work around.

I'm gonna grab a 1656 and a 1611 today to see if I get it working. Was thinking the signal could go over data link from the beogram directly to the converter and get play signal via masterlink?

Doesn't seem to work with the Play button on the IR-eye -> BeoLink Active via ML -> BeoLink Converter 1611 via DataLink -> Beogram. Neither does the N.Radio on the remotes all though they are clearly received.
I guess the N.Radio command sent via the eye directly to the phono is not the same as the command sent by my BeoMaster 3000 (which I connected for testing).
Ideas?
