Hello,
Would the playmaker work with my Beomedia 1? Means would it play the Music stored on my BM1 and would it use the N.Radio function of the BM1.
Would all this work with the BS5E?
Especially the N.Radio function is important for me (which is basically the reason I own the BM1). I do not have great experiences with iTunes Internet radio from my IMac.
Thanks, Heribert

Hi Heribert,
I'm sorry that I can't help you with your question, but, do you have the B&O BeoPlayer app for the iPhone? I love the 13,000 radio stations on offer with the app. The radio section in iTunes is excellent. You can drag your favourite station over to your playlist library for easy location etc. Food for thought I guess :)
The BM1 isn't by default a UPNP/DLNA server. but I bet it isn't too difficult to install one on it. It is a window box after all. I have installed additional software on mine.
Then you'd need a controller. An iphone or android phone would do the trick.
Beoworld app with direct photo upload and emoticons.
I have installed the xp version of iTunes on BM1. So this could be an option to use airplay for you.

Carolpa:try Twonky.
I did try with Twonkey 7.1 and failed. I cannot acces from the iPod Twonkey beam app to the BM.
I also installed iTunes and registred it for the homeharing, but Remote Apps on iPod or iPad could not connect (after first connect). It shows the iTunes Logo in Remote, but without name and cannot connect...
Hi,
Here is a link decsibing the procedure to connect a device via remote app.
One the connection is enabled you simple start remote an play your misic.
Can you see the iDevice in iTunes?
Can you enter the Passcode?
Which version of iTunes do you use?
i can see the iDevices in iTunes and entered the passcode. further I can see a new device in Remote on the iDevice but it does not show the any name and cannot be connected....
I downloaded the latest available iTunes from apple.com for XP
Sorry for the question, but did you activate your iTunes library for sharing?
i did i can see the shared iMac Library in Beomedia, but not the Beomedia Library in the iMac
When I was trying to share Windows Media player Library I received an error without any information is there any network thing I need to allow?
As far as I remember I there was no need to change anything in the network configuration when I installes iTunes on my BM1.
I will check in the evening, when I get home.
I'm using iTunes 10.4.1.10 and have the firewall enabled. Exeptions are allowed and are set to: Service Bonjour, iTunes and File and Print Services.
Additionally I added entries for iTunesHelper and iTunes in the registry under: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run to start iTunes automatically at boot time.
Check your system for the following Services, which must be started:
Apple Mobile Device
iPod-Dienst
Dienst "Bonjour"

You cant access the server with Twonky Beam to play music you need Twonky Mobile or another app like 8Player (there are a lot more out there)
Twonky will do the trick for sure
Another option is to install XBMC on the BM1. With the right XBMC settings it will work also.
Hi Heribert,,
I've setup a second iTunes on another PC (latest version) and ran into the same problems. I found out that is caused by some network circumstances. When indirectly connected to my timecapsule everything works fine. When I connect via a network repeater which extends my wlan, the problems you described where shown.
I found the following work around:
On my iOS devices I deavtivated home sharing and connected each device indivdually to both iTunes libraries.
Then I reactivated home sharing (this step is optional).
Although the media libraries in the remote app are shown as inactive (greyed), connection can be esteblished.
