Avant 55 tv table top stand angle adjustment problem

Has anyone had a problem with a table top stand on an Avant 55 tv not reaching or holding the vertical position when switched on? I've tried using the stand adjustment facility but when it reaches the vertical position, it immediately drops down to its lowest setting.

Sounds like a mechanical issue. Perhaps a broken piece of plastic or some such. I would ask beocare for help.

I wonder, could you make a short video of it and upload it to YouTube or vimoe and then share it here? Would be interesting to see.
