Dear all,

I have a couple of questions for you regarding my BV7 32 Mk 1 (Type # 9314) which is now being used in a guest bedroom. I have noticed that there are some protruding marks appearing on the edges of the screen just underneath the glass. Upon close inspection I can see that it is not a pixel problem.

Could someone tell me the cause of this problem and if I'm advised to have it repaired before more serious problems might occur? Frankly, the problem is fairly minor for a TV which is nowadays used more for music than movies so the problem isn't critical but I am curious to understand it better.

Thanks in advance!

The problem with the ATV2 might be due to HDCP which is not supported on MK1 models.

I had a similar issue, I was able to use a butter knife and move them away, they are soft pads I'm guessing to protect the glass from behind. They may have moved when you relocated to guest bedroom.
