I have a Beosound 9000 MkIII connected via its AUX output and a reverse-wired cable to a Beomaster 4000.

I have fitted a 'Speaker Sensor' plug to one of the 'Powerlink' outputs in order to get the Beosound to 'talk' to the Beomaster and apart from needing a higher volume setting on the Beomaster than I do when using my Beogram CDX, everything works well.

However, when I select the frequency display and then try to 'Fine Tune' the Radio using the UP/DOWN buttons on the Besound as per the Reference Book, the frequency does not change but the volume from the speakers connected to the Beomaster does going up and down as I press the relevant button ! Most odd !

Why is this happening?
