Good evening,

After reading on several sites on the web I can not figure out if the Beomaster 3500 and 4500 are similar or even identical in terms of sound. (I know some features are missing on the 3500 and the finish is of course different) but is the amplifier the same?

On B&O official site I downloaded the manual for the Beosystem 4500 and the spec is the same as the one on product overview here on beoworld. however there is no such manual for the 3500. On beoworld the spec is the same for 3500 but I also noticed a typo regarding FM tuner, refering to serial numbers of the 4500 when reading 3500 spec...

someone who knows the differences in spec? or even can tell if the sound is comparable given that the specs are the same?

thanks in advance

Yes - The 3500 and 4500 are identical, except for the finish -and some missing features on the 3500, as you write.

Internally the touchpanel PCB board 3500/4500 has different connectors and cannot be swapped.

Beomaster 3500 does not have 2-way functionality while some of the BM4500's has.

Thanks for sorting things out, even down to internal connector level, I appreciate it.
