Well - if THIS is "vintage", then an MX4000 is from Roman times, and the BeoLab 5000 system was produced around 3 years after the big bang...
lol yes, flatscreens are so last century
clearly not capable of supporting a 3D TV
BeoNut since '75
I remember when I was a lad, I really wanted one of those new fangled 'flatscreen' televisions. Some of them even came with a remote control! It had a cable mind you...
I wonder whether a 'wireless' would fit on the stand as well? maybe i could get on the email to find one????

Man, I remember those days! I had a wireless acoustic TV remote, channel up/down, volume, and on/off were it. But my cable box had a 20+ foot wire that ran to a box with a slider bar to pick channels, and my first RCA VCR had a wired remote too. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
My remote at the time was far more reliable and didn't need strange sized batteries that cost a fortune and only lasted a few weeks.
It was a broom handle with end pared down to fit the buttons, it did have some range limitations, but at least it didn't change channels every time I picked up my house keys, unlike the acoustic remote systems.
