First thing I thought was is this a early April Fools? Do seems so ubiquitous and still widely used. No?
I find it exciting news for radio, even if you don’t see it.
Norway is the only country that likes making drastic changes. Anyway this makes a lot more sense, considering the cost of sustaining a FM channel.
But is it really stable enough to fully replace FM? I know, technology is moving forward, and if you’re not embrace it, you just going to get left in the dust. If you don’t want it, go down to your basement and watch your copy of Casablanca on VHS.

The trouble is, that these adapter will have to be configured as a source connected to the AudioMaster.
Usually as A.Aux - and not all link-products 'understand' that command!
Do a quick (google) search for 'BL3500 and a.aux' or 'BL2000 and a.aux', 'Active Link and a.aux' and you will see.
Only solution - of course if needed - is an update of the sw of these products, which not always is possible.
Even if this is done, it won't give you the wished for timer-function!
Only genuine solution, I see, is to replace the BS9000 with a BC2/DAB+ orBS4/DAB+.
in Denmark they haven't shut down FM (yet), but a lot of people have the same troubles, anyway.
The biggest cable tv provider has shut down the FM signal in the cable.
Means, that you will have to use a 'normal' antenna to get the local stations (and in many cases not receiving the stations that people want/are used to).
So same problems there!

1: will definitely be the easiest and 'cleanest' solution - works just like you are used to.
And ---- who needs a 6-cd changer nowadays ;-(
2: you did not write anything about the linked product, that you intend to use!
Do consider - as I wrote above - not all react to the A.Aux command.....
....and there is no timer function!
3: if your linkproducts understand the A.Aux command, you could surely do so -just buy a preused iPod and dedicate that for playback from anetradio app!
4: if you have both the BS9000 and the BS5 in your masterlink chain, the radio command will open the radio section of the 9000.
For 'radio' from the BS5 you need to push 'Netradio'.
Thinking further about this, there might be another solution.
Years ago, many years, I had a tv solution, where I used a modulator to feed an encrypted satelite signal into my tv's.
The signal from the sat receiver was modulated onto a tv channel and this way reachable on all tv's just like any other broadcasted channel.
Also years ago I had a modulator to feed my car radio with the sound from my MP3 player.
These FM modulators are still available - they are mostly used in cars.
But it should be possible to use one at home with a small DAB+ receiver - why not?

Often people listen to only one radio station.
This way you could have the signal from the DAB+ tuner as a FM signal on your BS9000 as 'it used to be'.
Of course you could use more than one, if you want to.
Best thing would be to find a FM modulator with 3 inputs and 3 output frequenzies - that might be sufficient in most cases.
So, just an idea to consider!
Definitely something, that I will remember, when things change in Denmark too.
One thing however, to investigate before starting is, whether there could be restrictions for the use of the FM frequenzies after they officially
are shut down for public use.

Stones:- adding a DAB+ source to AUX input (like Bosscom), but BS9000 does not support datalink so I will not be able to control?
