Hi Kiran

Is there light at the end of the tunnel yet?

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

Building works have finally been completed except the garden and forecourt...

A lot of internal decoration is still left to do...

Electricians have started on the second fix a few weeks ago...

Server rooms still need cleaning up...

It will start to get exciting now... ☺️💯

Hey Kiran it’s good to see the progress you’ve made.

I’ve not come across a dedicated Christmas room before. It looks good but please tell me you use it the rest of the year too!

Good evening... I hope you are all well in these uncertain strange times...

Progress Update...

Building works have finally finished...

I have a big Lutron order coming next week... I will be installing and programming all devices myself... One of you guys has the tabletop remotes talking to the BLGW via the RF Repeater. I am doing the same and have figured it is very easy to do using CAPTURE in the BLGW. Will place 3 around the house...

I have also ordered a Door Bird D2101KV IP video intercom for the gates and an A1101 indoor station. I can’t wait to hook this up with the BLGW as MJMEDLO advised... something along the lines of firing global home control command and the video would show up on NL TVs with the button to open the gates via the Door Bird relays... will look into this...

The Beosound core is the way forward in the new world in my opinion as it does pretty much all the music streaming services we require but it only has 1 power link output...

I advised earlier to use this connector to split powerlink:

This only works when you want to split the signal once and I can’t split the signal further maybe due to voltage drop?...

I also found many people are having problem in search of these connectors. When you are searching, you should search for RJ45 COUPLER instead of RJ45 SPLITTER...

I figured out another way; the RJ45 ML distribution modules work... I told you guys these are the holy grails of B&O lol... 👍🏻💯

The patch leads going into the wall end up at the speakers here...

The RJ45 to Powerlink cable for the Beolab 1 and 2 are from Steve at Sounds Heavenly. They are the best... 👍🏻💯

All works fine and I have 2 slots available for more speakers lol...

I’m sure I can extend the Powerlink signal further...

Have a good day 👍🏻💯

Happy New Year, Kiran! Glad to hear about the progress. How is the balance these days in terms of NL vs. ML?

Happy New Year to you too!

NL will always win over ML for music simply due to music streaming services. Video is out of the question...

I like listening to my music collection on my NAS, my CD collection and only sometimes do I search for new music...

NL will eventually take over in the house in terms of using components and resources...

The ML side of B&O are pretty ornaments in my eyes and I will never get rid of them - BS5, BS9000, BL3500 etc...

I have acquired another NL/ML converter so I could potentially run 2 separate Masterlinks with the converters set to Videomasters pulling sources from different Beosound systems. Yes it sounds complicated but that’s just me lol...
