I have a BEOGRAM 1202, that I bought in 1974.
It is now starting to run slow (take,s about 10min's to warm up), how do rectify this, do I need a new motor and can you still get one?

Take the motor completely apart, clean and reoil bearings and spindle.Not an easy task. Do a search in this and the archived forum and you will find more info.

Can you lead me in the right direction on the site for a BEOGRAM 1202 motor overhaul, I will need a How to do guide if at all possible.
Taking the motor apart is easy, its putting it together again that may give problems, after cleaning the bearings (use thinner or acetone), if using acetone be careful with plastic and painted parts, use a good oil for the bearings, when asampling the motor, use linings to adjust the rotor in the middle. but the problem may also be the mechanism for speed change, Check the link below.
Here a little more about your deck, but search for BM 1202 anyway
This is good oil, sewing machine oil will do too, SAE multigrade from your car is not. now as the deck is open, lubricate all mechanical moving parts.

Just to reinforce Soren's thoughts on the oil - I use the same 'liquid bearings' oil and it is awesome stuff. It doesn't dry and as well as using it for my B&O applications, I also use it around the house for example on the bearings of ventilation fans (which used to be seized from one year to the next previously). One bottle lasts forever.

2) Can you still get the rosewood verner for the side of the BEOLAB 1700.
eBay for parts like motors - but condition will be unknown. Member 'Dillen' or others may be able to help - put an add in the 'Wanted' section (Silver and Gold members only). Search for beogram motors on Beoworld as there has been descriptions of other's motor disassembly and rebuilding.
Beolab 1700 ended production in 1977 so new parts - not a chance I'd guess so again, eBay or a Beoworld member with a duff unit but cosmetically good to act as a donor and swap it out. Otherwise, if you're really handy, buy veneer and replace it yourself as an alternative. You may have a good woodwork shop locally who could use it as an apprentice project.
You have a nice project ongoing - Beogram 1202 + Beolab 1700 + CX100 speakers. Keep them all alive.
Where are you in the World? I posted links for speaker rebuilding on your other post but didn't know which would be appropriate (for shipping etc).

Hallo to all members. I am new here, just registered.
Thank you all for the many suggestions I have read on the website: the kindness and the solutions found here made me want to get in.
I live in Bologna, Italy, and have bought a 1202 just recently; it is in working order, but the round sticker (with the "lift" writing printed over) on the operation wheel is missing.
Would anyone who owns some spare parts help me finding the sticker or the whole switch?

It's not a sticker but an apprx. 0.5mm thick eloxated aluminium plate with lettering.We do ask for a minimum membership level of silver to place sales/wanted ads.I will delete this post shortly.
