A quick update on two issues
The camera app video recording. We nailed it down to the lock screen control. We use a media session for this and apparently we do not give it back when the camera app is asking for it. We will look into it this week.
Performance issues. The biggest issue here seems to be connecting to the products. We connect to all on boot and this takes much longer than anticipated. The more products the slower it is. Huawei phones seems to be especially bad at this. We will rework how we do this for the next release.
@Kiran: my not at all biased opinion is that you should use the Bang & Olufsen app ;)

Perfect! Can't be just connecting to the products, though. My app won't connect at all to my Moment ("not reachable"), and even after the app has finished loading there are some major delays when selecting albums, playlists etc. Just now I pressed an album in the "Favorite albums" section of the front page, and the app froze again for over half a minute. I was just about to force-close it, when it suddenly responded and opened the album I had selected forty seconds earlier. This only seems to happen once, every time I use the app. Now it's fine again. I'm sure if I wait an hour it will happen again, once. I use VPN on my phone, btw. Could that have something to say, if the issue has to do with connecting to Deezer?
This (including the "BeoSound Moment is not reachable") is the major reason I'm still on the BeoMusic app. And I haven't even mentioned the X-app to my wife, as she's no lover of half finished things and almost working solutions. She's not very fond of the Beomusic app though, and she'll love the interface of the X-app. When this issue is sorted, and maybe some rudimentary search/filter funtionality is added to the artis/album/track lists, I'm off the Beomusic app. And the same day, I'll tell my wife "Oh, by the way. You know the app to control the music in the living room, that you never liked? There's this new B&O-app you should download instead. You'll love it. Let me show you..."

@Henrik. I know we have some way to go still before we're where we want to be. It has been hard to get right with all the legacy products and work slightly different than the others, that includes the moment. About the unreachable Moment, could you try to remove it from your account and re-add it?

The Android app has just been updated, but no real word on what has changed.
@ThatGuyFromDenmark: This was a hotfix release fixing crashes observed in our logging and TuneIn metadata from Moment. We usually do not update the release notes for hotfixes

I'm using the app on my iPad and the play/pause button is not shown. However, when I press in that empty space it is still work. My android phone doesn't has this issue though.

And the overlapping of the volume wheel and the player icon/name is an issue too.
I guess that we will have to wait for a proper tablet/iPad release of the app to solve these problems.

Regarding the iPad version. We're working on the dedicated iPad version but it still a couple of months away, sorry. It is not just a simple port of the code, some views will change and everything needs to work in landscape as well. This takes time to do.
Regading the broken UI on iPads for the current version. This is just a scaled version of the phone app and will not work completely. What we really wanted was to prevent you from installing on iPads before we were ready, but that is not possible. I'm afraid we're not going to spend time on fixing the scaled version, but instead spend our time doing the dedicated version.

That makes sense..
Regarding the issue with the camera, this is also an issue when watching videos on Facebook, YouTube or Instagram, 99% of the time, you need to stop the X app from playing before the videos run in FB or IG. Sometimes I can fix it by playing a combination of X app, FB and then some YouTube videos, but most of the times, it does not work.
I am fine with that - and can be patient.
So far the Beomusic app (on the iPad) works well with the NL-audio products ;-)
I was just wondering, if there really are more people using the small phone screen for navigating their B&O gear - since you have started with that version.
But maybe I am the only one on an iPad ;-)))

You are not the only one with an iPad, just the only one that carries it around with you all the time ;)
The reason I am using the iPhone, is that it normally is in my pocket, so it is easy to use that one instead of finding my iPad..

When I am away I, of course have my iPhone in my pocket - ready for use.
But alas, the only B&O gear I carry with me is the A1.
When at home it gets beaten by the bigger screen of my iPad (surely never far away)...
....and my B&O dedicated iPad Mini ;-)
As long as I know, that the X-team - at some point - finishes the iPad version....

The iPad gets charged - the screen is always on unless I manually turn it off.
Means ready for controlling my Essence - no need to search for my iPhone ;-)
