Bought this on eBay. BeoPlay official UK 'Seller Refurbished'.
What's not to fear? It's from a representative of B&O UK so they'll have high standards, I thought.
Back it goes. I'll think twice next time.
Absolutely filthy....
Food residue and dirt in the socket connection box...
Internal boxes destroyed. Not the end of the world, but how much does it cost to replace a little cardboard box and create a good impression?
And finally, marks and scratches - plus little bits of food and dirt in the holes all over the unit...
I've requested a return, obviously. I did try contacting them before opening a case.
Initial reply was one that implied "well what do you expect - it wasn't full price" - and now the lady dealing with me has gone on holiday. I tried emailing her colleague yesterday. No response.
At least they replied initially, I suppose...
That looks nasty!

I haven't even powered it up. I didn't want to touch it any more than i had to - it smells, and it's filthy.
Which 'representative of B&O UK' could that be?
Obvisiously he/she did not not know, who he was dealing with.
It's a company called 'Kondor' - who appear to be a company of purely box-shippers... That may explain the fact that nobody has checked it.
Sloppy.....
At no point would I ever say "do you know who I am?" - I just acted like a normal customer, hit the buy-it-now button, and looked forward to a Black BeoLit 15 in my bedroom.
Such a shame.
I've just had a notification that the seller has accepted my return - please send back for a refund. I did ask on the return if they could just swap it for a clean and undamaged example, but it appears it wasn't read.
