Hi. My Beovision 10 changes sources on it's own randomly. When I'm watching cable on v.mem, it changes to DVD without warning or without anyone even holding the beo4 remote. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be a setting?
thanks
John
Hi John,
Is the DVD player connected with a SCART cable? The reason I ask is that SCART includes a trigger wire, which allows the DVD player to turn the TV to this input when the player is turned on. Hence, this may actually be an issue with the DVD player turning on by itself and then making the TV change inputs.....
Kind regards, Steve.
Steve.

Does this only happen to DVD mode?
Does this also happen when your Beo4 is "not in the room"?
Is the BV10 your videomaster?
Are there any link rooms, so you could test your remote in a link room?
Some members had similiar problems with BL1000 remote and , as far as I remember, some with Beo4 too.
Hope this helps
Stefan
Hi Stefan
I don't have any link equipment at all. Just the bv10 with a set top box and blu ray connected via hdmi. Only other thing connected is Beolab 14 home cinema.
I haven't tried it with the beo4 not in the room, but I have gone as far as changing to other beo4 remotes from other rooms just to see if it's the remote causing the problem.
Very strange.
