Hi there, So, I just finished a complete capacitor and lamp replacement on a beautiful Beomaster 1900 with kits Martin sent to my customer.  I also changed the main 5000uf filter caps with 4700uf 50v caps and checked/adjusted the 15v supply and amplifier bias settings.  It came out very nice and everything worked the first time I powered it up using a DBT and Variac.  I tested all functions for a couple days, then called the customer for the good news.

He took it home and played it for a few days, then said it started shutting off by itself sometimes.  Now, it seems to shut off with a minute or so...sometimes after just a few seconds  While it is on, however, the music still plays fine.  Once it shuts off, you have to wait about 30 seconds of so before it will turn back on. Before I break it down again, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on this issue?  I was all excited to have this restoration done and was going to post pictures of the process if anyone is interested.
