I just upgraded to Mac OS 10.12.6this week end and my linkplayer displays a white circle with a diagonal line thru it. This same icon came up on another program an older version of Quickbooks.

have others had this problem? Is there a solution?  I tried downloading the link player software again but the same icon comes up.

thanks

Have you tried to double click on the LinkPlayer icon to see if the App will open?

I downloaded the application to test it and I'm seeing the same icon overlay. My educated guess is that the app is simply incompatible with 10.12, and the developer would need to update it to support the latest versions. It was last updated about seven years ago, which is a long time, considering how Apple have released major updates to Mac OS X almost every year since that time.

Hi all,

Link player is a 32 bit application and SIerra has discontinued support for 32 bits apps and only support 64 bit apps.
