Mdjolly1973:HiIve had my V1 for a few months now and over the last week its been randomly switching itself off....i switch it back on,works fine for a length of time then switches off again! Software issue or shall i ask the dealer to replace tv?
This is the eco-setting. By default it is set to turn of the V1 autmatically after 4 hours of uniterupted use.
The abrupt shutdown I'm having on my V1 occurs while using it, it shuts down all of a sudden (no closing curtains, everything is turned off instantly). There is a disruption in all speakers when it happens. The V1 automatically restarts, however, external speakers remain switched off and the picture of the V1 remains black after the restart. When selecting a source, the image of the selected source appears instantly and any external speakers are turned on instantly.
Mdjolly1973:No mine switches off after five minutes, twenty minutes and other random times!
That is abnormal, contact your dealer! I would think that if certain issues were software related, they would appear on a more larger scale.
@Hero71 What was the outcome of the green aurora problems which you experienced with your Beoplay V1? I have acually the same issues (with different sources; apple TV and my set-up box).
Thanks in advance!
My V1 has always blinked green for a second after being turned on, it blinks green after a few seconds or after a few minutes. Not always the same but always the green flash. My warranty ends soon but it is hard to send it in for that I think. Anyone else who has a V1 that does the same?
