I'm just 2 hours flight time away, just a little south of Houston, you are welcome any time.
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Thanks Soren, will keep that in mind. Has to fit in my schedule...Never been in Mexico.
Evan: Tell your employer you would rather go to Ohio!!
Do we have an Honeywell office over there? Yes we have, just 1200 miles away from Houston
I love America.. I wish it was me going........
Lee
New Mexico is not far away and we all know who lives there
I'm no longer in Kentucky now across the pond in UK ;)
Don't worry - be Happy
Unfortunately I live in Florida and am in the process of moving to Georgia, nowhere near Houston, as id love to meet you.
Hope you have a good trip, how long are you staying?
Texas is a great state, you should find a gun range that rents pistols and burn thru a couple of hundred rounds, just for fun and the experience. I doubt you get much of that at home. Might as well try the forbidden fruit while you can!
Jeff
I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Also, you need to try some Texas BBQ, good eats y'all!

One of my dreams comes (hopefully) true Lee. My trip still has to be approved. I have been in many countries worldwide. Canada (Alberta Fort McMurray, in the middle of nowhere and beautiful) and Martinique were the closest.

Me too Jeff! I will stay for 2-3 weeks and now looking for what could be interesting to see in that area during the weekends.
Never had a gun in my hand before so that could be one thing to start with (not sure if that's wise though)
What do you mean by forbidden fruit?
Texas BBQ, hmmmm. I've heard that the plates they serve are slightly bigger then ours

Find an excuse to visit Honeywell's World Headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey. Just 30 miles from New York City. Not much to do or see here tho
Wow, New York city is magic like lots of other cities in the US. If I were a CEO of this company I definetely would pay you a visit Bob
We more or less have your plan for the 3 weeks ready, 1st weekend, New York city, 2nd weekend Mexico city, 3rd weekend Back home for Xmas

Todd, my bro...You Americans are used to drive long distances, so why not take Evan with you (in his Honda) and drive to Houston

The Ohio guys will be invited for the BeoParty in Mex. city same weekend
BTW, I've been to Houston a couple of times, nice place, good shopping, good food of all kinds, be sure to test the Tx beef, an absolutely must see is the space center/museum.
Agree completely , "if you believe they put man on the moon........."
The only thing I held against TX was number of presidents supplied

Especially the one living there now...
It slowly comes back to me, last time was about 5 years ago, there is a BIG mall with a million shops, Galeria, there is a hotel build into the mall.
I got my most expensive haircut ever on that mall, needed to cut my hair, and just went into the first hair cutter shop I saw, without checking, USD 110.00.
Took some 45 min. I think the barber (sorry hair stylist) was gay, hair wash, head massage and a lot of blow drying, and at last some stinking perfume that lasted for a week. And non Beo soft music from hidden speakers.
My lokal barber here in mex. cost USD 6.00 and he does it in 8 min. flat, and he even cut the hairs coming out of my nose, the gay one didn't.
That's what you get being so damn attractive
I did my share across almost all states driving tractor&trailer, before became instructor with professional truck driving school and never had haircut - excuse me hair style what cost more than 5ver in fairness I haven't got much hair

That I don't know, but what I do know is that we use Honeywell products on this guy \/ . We use pressure transducers for our brake lines. You should come bring us more sensors!
That's another division of the company. You could use that one on the picture then I'm sure you can do it in ??? hours. But where do you leave Todd?
I'll trade you places (maybe permanently)!
David
Sorry David, I don't understand your remark?
While out driving yesterday I stumbled upon this! 5025 Bradenton Ave. Ste. 130
Surely you have to come to Ohio now?!
Evan, don't do this to me! One of the many worldwide! Proud to be an American (employee)
My visit has been postponed to January. So home at Christmas...
As I have told some of my clients, where we have small problems with Honeywell switches, that a specialist will visit in December, I will have to postpone to January as well, I will inform my clients accordingly
BTW, January is a lot better, less overbooked flights, cheaper tickets, and you may run into a lot of "after Xmas" sales, very cheap gadgets on sale. These sales in the US are special, I never seen anything like it in other countries, later years there was a lot of electronics to rock bottom prices. 1st of January, start surfing on Amazon, Best Buy, and other for you interesting sites. Get an US address to ship too and make your shopping. And January in Galerias Houston, they give away everything for free . So bring an extra suitcase, or buy one on sale
I just looked at the job listings on the corporate site.. Looks like they have 5 open positions in central OH.
Or better yet, you should get me an internship in the Netherlands!
Houston rocks! Whilst the rest of the country is buried in snow, we're sipping adult beverages on the patio in jeans & t-shirt!
I'll PM you for the details of your visit. You'll love it here!
Can't wait, thanks!
Leslie: Can't wait, thanks!
If you bring my Beocord 1200 reel to reel, I´ll be there too
Who says I have a 1200? Saw one on Ebay!
