Right I though I will give it a go:

Newest B&O attempt to create intelligent remote control : the BeoCat1 - code name Pablo (rather moody and not very reliable, but) also can be used as alarm clock without warranty to get up in time desired  (may need conversion or software upgrade to adjust cat time to human time) Whistle

Those whom may think this is "Top Posting" - I'm not a Geeked and this certainly does appeal to me more than showing each other insurance deals or credit cards- no offence though) Cool

I have two early photos from the time when our B&O was the http://beocentral.com/beogram1500recordplayer

None of the pictures seem to show the BG, Plantagenet obviously thought this was a far more comfortable ride ....

No, just that his memory is still in working condition !

Give it 40 years X 12 months X 30 days = 14,400 bottles of beer and it will be as empty as mine

Hi,

let me present you to the extension of the Beosound 1 PIN code protection system:

The BeoCat BeoSecure1! Superb speaker protection system.

Description:

Manufactured: 2003 - today

Design: By nature

Colours: White, brown, black, and some rose

Excerpt from the upcoming BeoCat catalog:

"BeoCat BeoSecure1 is a maximum expression, protecting your speakers. Efficient and elegant, fun to pla(y)ce around."

It is a tough construction, solid and is capable of multi speaker protection. The alarm signal does not need to be programmed, it is set by default. With its innovative two-teeth-first-bite-after-warning security concept it is a safe and well designed system for every Bang & Olufsen speaker owner. We recommend to use it with the Beolink wireless, the playmaker or in-wall wiring, so that the cables might not be interfered by the protection system. Sometimes the two-teeth-first-bite-after-warning security concept gets in a testing mode and will use the cables for testing material.

Example for multi speaker capability:

It may also serve as a sound calibration set-up, though this is an optional feature. If the sound settings are too much to bear, the alarm will go off and you know it´s time to adjust.

Specifications:

Type: Maincoone

Voltage: High

Consumption: Usually too much

Tuner and sound system: Built-in

Power amplifier: Built-in

Frequency range: Appr. 400 - 40000 Hz (I really have no clue Smile)

                                 80 dB Mono

Plays: Purring, growling, meowing, always clear and transparent

Haptic: Basically fluffy

Dimensions: Varying, depending on fur status

Weight: Around 8,5 kg

Related product:

BeoCat Gram1

Rolf

Cool name and cat  Wink here's how my B&O obsession started:

Pablo tries to shield my BC 3500 given to me from fellow on freecycle (no record deck, which is now sold in spares and parts for charity) - it is mess all around (doing to many things at once again) - pay notice to the date, that's when it all started for me Wink

Super nice Yes - thumbs up!

Your cat is probably tapping always on the metal of your sweet Beolink 7000 to have the light turned on all the time?

Kind regards,

Rolf

Hi Elephant,

I´m realizing your cute Plantagenet is looking just like my first cat, Neysa, passed away in 2002. Unfortunately I have no digital pictures from him. Maybe I can get a Photo scanned and posted.

Looks very, very nice!

Kind regards,

Rolf

Back in the old days cats were happy creatures; they could sit and lay on top on a nice, warm TV. Then came flatscreen into almost every home and the cat's were left hanging...

Bang & Olufsen weren't cruel to the BeoCats - so they made BeoVision 8 - it may have a slight fault in it's design, but at least the BeoCat is happy now
