As B&O fans you will recognise the whirring sound that a BS9000 makes, well my beloved and immaculate 1992-5 manufactured CD7000 also makes his sound. I listen to a lot of classical music and getting more into the Beethoven string quartets and the quieter moody Sibelius works. From a few feet away, I can hear the whirring of the CD player and it is rather off putting and intrusive. Is there anyway to acoustically dampened that noise away using Dynamat sound insulation sheets stuck to the inside of the CD player’s casework or any other clever external techniques please?
