Hello,
So far I have no luck controlling the Apple TV from the standard Beo One remote. I can use the Apple remote though I really don't want to.
So now...On the Horizon...I have the Apple TV connected to HDMI1, the PUC to the 1st Port and I am using the leg A of the PUC lead. The IR lead is placed 1/2 inch from the white light on the Apple TV.
Apple 4th Generation is selected as the controller code but I cannot control moving left right, up or down, select or home.
Have I done something wrong?
Thanks Beoaus.
Seems the Apple TV 5th Generation 4K has the IR receiver to the far left of the white flashing light.
Hope this helps someone else.
Beoaus.

elephant:Point your mobile phone’s camera at the of the PUC cable ... the fire some remote keys ... you should see a red glow flash at the end of the PUC.
Just a note on that: On my iPhone (5s), you can only view IR transmissions with the front-facing (selfie) camera, not the rear mounted one.

petermc:Hi Andrew, I thought I read somewhere on another thread that on the latest Apple TV you had to remove the Apple remote as a controller and then it would work with the PUC control. It appears that you can’t use the Apple remote and PUC controllers at the same time. it’s supposedly one or the other. Hopefully I didn’t dream this - I’ll see if I can find the thread when I get home. Peter
