If the this model has Freeview module (DVB-T) make sue you connect your aerial to the correct socket, there should be two, one for analogue and one for digital.
There should also be an aerial output for the link system. Don't connect your aerial to this by mistake.
Other thing to consider is that if the TV was used in another region you will need to re-tune to your local Freeview transmitter.
