Dear Forum Members,

I am looking for a set of Beolab 4000 speakers to add to MX7000 tv especially for listening to classical music, like 'The (last night of the) Proms' in the UK.

Can anyone advise on what to look for in terms of versions and specifications?

I read that a lot a people prefer the MKI version over the MarkII. And many use sets are being offered with new interior foam. Sounds goed, but is is it really a good thing.

And how easy (or difficult) would it be to go wireless?

Looking forward to any information that can help me decide.

Philip

You can’t go wrong with a pair of BL4000 - as long as they are ‘healthy!

MK1 or 2 - doesn't matter imo.

As for ‘wireless’ - you’d need the (WiSA) Transmitter 1 and two Receiver 1’s from B&O.

If that is worth it, you must know - if you are able to have a cabled connection, it is the easiest and cheapest option.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
