Hi guys,

Recently bought a nice set of two Beovox MS 150.2 speakers together with a beomaster 8000 receiver.

Unfortunally the previous owner has replaced the bass woofers to something that does not really suit these speakers. The sound is pure and nice but even as I adjust the bass on the tone control there simply is not much bass at all. Very flat sound.

Is it possible to find corresponding woofers for these speakers anymore?

Can somebody give me advices?

Thanks in advance,

Dillen

Sad case.
One in a long row.
That the previous owner replaced the original woofers with something else is bad.
That the previous owner threw away the original woofers is VERY VERY bad.

Original drivers can almost always be repaired - and it's worth it!
The 8-inch woofer is also found in a few other models - though that doesn't exactly make them plentyful, since they
are often found victim of the same sad treatment.
The 10-inch subwoofers are unique to this model.
They were custom produced for B&O to this exact speaker and, just like the 8-inch, it's practically impossible to match the
original T/S parameters using modern - or even other contemporary drivers. They are quite unique, particularly
in parameters related to cabinet size, which was - and still is - unusually small for a speaker as powerful as this.

The only hope is to find original woofers from a pair of donor speakers.
I know of at least twenty owners looking for original 8-inch and 10-inch drivers, so be fast, and be prepared to
pay good, even for a pair or set in need of repairs/refoam'ing.

Thank you Martin for replying, I really appreciate it!

It is very sad, "bremdal radio" in denmark sold me the set and I hope they can assist me. I assume that if these woofers can be found somewhere it should be in Denmark.

I can tell you it's difficult in Denmark.
Where that puts other countries, I can only begin to guess.
