How can I use the Beocord with 7 pin output to play and record om a Beomaster 1900/2400 with only 5 pin input??????/ Thanks so much

The two outermost pins in the Beocords DIN plug can be unscrewed using a very small (watchmakers type) flat bladed screwdriver..Store the pins a safe place, f.e. taped to the underside or backside of the Beocord.

Yes.The two pins are for datalink (remote control), - not supported by your Beomaster anyways.

Another solution would be to plug your existing cable as is into a barrel adapter and plug a 5-pin din cable into the other end of the barrel adapter. Those pins are easy to lose and difficult to screw back in.

The coupler would not go where the sockets are. It's used to connect two lengths of cable together. I know from experience that trying to reinsert the pins at a later time is quite difficult and nice to avoid.
What is the problem with screwing in the pins, it only requires a suitable screwdriver?

I start the screws using just my fingertips and then finish them tight with a small screwdriver.Never had a problem.
