Sharing Beolab 11 between B&O audio and non-B&O video systems

Hi, I'm thinking about getting the Beolab 11 subwoofer to use in a 3.1 TV setup (the left/centre/right speakers will be non-B&O).  I also have a pair of Beolab 3s which I plan to use exclusively for music (via iTunes on a Mac Mini + DAC).  I would like the Beolab 11 to work with the separate music system as well as the TV setup.

Is this possible, and easily so (I'm an amateur)?  I'm aware there may be an issue with B&O being active and surround sound receivers requiring passive, or something like that.

Also, assuming this sharing is possible, how would I wire it up exactly, and what would happen if I turned on both systems?  Would they perhaps play simulataneously through the subwoofer (that would be fine)?

Thanks!
