Hi,

I have been using my Beolab 5s happily with a Core for a while and it has been working great! However I had a power outage the other day and now the only thing the Core does is turn on the speakers, but no sound comes out whatever source.

I have tested the Core on my Beolab 3´s and that works fine. Also the 5´s play fine in Option 1 with Digital in.

I also tried power out for a 12 hours, resetting the speaker and other cables.

Anyone have any ideas/experiences on what this could be?

Hi,

I imagine you use the optical output of the Core...

Could it be an issue with the optical/coax converter (i.e. not the Core)?

Solved; kept the speakers unplugged for a couple of hours and they works perfect again. Very old school solution to high-tech problem :D
