Hi there.

I am restoring an old and pretty Beogram 1203. 

It got some problems positioning the arm correctly at the start of the record and returning it back when finished playing.

Correct me if im wrong but i think this might be because of some old capacitors in the relay. The one in the picture below. Not my photo - thanks to dudu_mec.

Can anyone tell me if i am on the right path or the problem is elsewhere?

And i would like to know what the orange part inside the relay is and what its function is.

This relay is for staring PLAY and LIFT function. The starting point for the needle can be adjusted under the platter. Is the tonearm resting position parallel to the sides? (After STOP)
