Beosound moment

hello my moment wont put the speakers in standby anymore. Both wired and wirelss are on?

have tried to resett the soundheart but nonting.

when i push the powerbotton the speakers go off.

sorry bad english

Hello Stian,

Contact your dealer for an update of the software in your speakers. My BL18 and 19 didnt switch off anymore. Had mine updated and since then no more problems. Big Smile

Hi,

Congratulations! You have a good dealer. I got the same problem as Stian for 1 month ago. I have contacted a dealer (Bang & OLufsen Oslo Vest) 4 times about this problem, last time sent a reclamation, still no answer. I have reset 4 times, updated software, still no switch off of loudspeakers Beolab 20. I have to diconnect power cord of loudspeakers when not listening. My wife has a well functioning voice activated wireless system - she tells me and I go and unplugg speakers. Unfortunately I do not have a Wireless system. Welcome to A.D. MMXVIII

Hi, indeed I'm happy with my dealer. His service is really good. He also let me test the BL19 for over a month before I decided to buy it. It's not his fault the Moment and BLs needed a view addaptations the last few years. But I really hope this system stays steady next 5 years.

I still love the BLs 18 shape and sound.

We are very sorry for this issue which appears to have been introduced in the latest software update. Our technicians are working on resolving it, and we hope to see a solution by the beginning of June.
 
We shall do our best to keep you posted as soon as we receive an update.
 
Very sorry for the inconvenience this causes in the meantime.

Once again I'm very frustrated. Again my Moment is not working. Every 2 minutes It restarts. Anyone interested in buying it with 2 beolabs 18 and a bl19 ? In 45 years of listining music I never had such a waste of money. Spend 10000 euri on this set and every week something unexpected for the last 2 years. I'm really thinking about juridical steps to make a statement to compagnies selling unfinished products. Of course it is me, the fool unable to work with product, or its Deezers fault. Yeah right. Instead of enjoying music , this product is only frustrating me for 2 years. After a day of hard work I wAnt to relax for a few minutes, but what do I get ? Could you as CS reply me what to do next ? Again go to my dealer ? What a waste. All my friends laughing and calling me the paperclipboy. Wish I had bought a complete Sonos set for my houseAngryAngryAngryAngry

Ik heb hem van mijn dealer op proef thuis gehad.

Werkte voor geen meter.

Mocht hem gelukkig weer terug geven!

Goede keuze geweest. Heb m gekocht in juni 2016 en elke week is er wel iets. Dan werkt de volumeknop weer niet, dan weer linker of rechterspeaker, dan weer andere kleine zaken. Toppunt was in april toen de speakers niet meer uitgezet konden worden, toen zijn de beolabs geupdate zodat volgens de technicus iedere update vd moment ook in de speakers doorgevoerd worden. Tot zaterdag idd alleen nog de wekelijkse kleine euvels gehad. Helaas is de moment nu alleen nog aan te sturen via de ipad en dat gaat goed. Maar de interface start elke minuut opnieuw op. Al 60 x een paperclip erin gedaan, alles gereset, maar zal wel weer een Deezer/B&O communicatieprobleem zijn. Heel jammer want ik vind de beolabs 18 en 19 bij ons interieur prachtig, maar wil nu een oplossing waarbij ik met een druk op de knop weer direct muziek kan luisteren. Volgens de dealer moeten we maar leren leven met dit soort huidige problemen. Echt onacceptabel voor een systeem van 10 mille. Heb zo'n spijt. Had voor dat geld mijn hele huis kunnen voorzien van die lelijke Sonos-pakken, maar dan hadden we wel zonder problemen alles direct kunnen aansturen via mobiel en ipads. Wat heb jij uiteindelijk ipv de Moment aangeschaft ?

Ik heb mijn beosound 5 gehouden.

Je bent niet de enigste.

Waardeloos apparaat voor veel geld.

Kan je hem niet omruilen voor een andere moment?

Bluesound node II kan je de beolab 18 ook via line op aansluiten.

Heeft ook een aparte subwoofer aansluiting.

Werkt perfect!

Thnx Koning. Maar dan dus niet draadloos ? Maar wel weer cd s afspelen ?

Zit zelf ook aan zo iets te denken of gewoon zo n b&o hubje van 700 euro en dat doet de dealer maar iets voor alle ellende de afgelopen twee jaar. Weet wel dat ik verder niets meer van b&o aanschaf totdat alles een jaar foutloos gewerkt heeft. Sad zo jammer, want t blijft qua design prachtig.

Probleem is trouwens nu weer opgelost na 9:00 uur. Alles werkt weer. Bevestigt weer mijn theorie dat er maandagochtend in Denemarken iemand weer op wat knopjes heeft gedrukt om de vrijdagavond-update van Deezer door te sluisen naar de Moment. Is bijna elke keer op vrijdagavond of zaterdagochtend dat grotere issues parten spelen op dit apparaat. Is niet erg, maar communiceer dit open met je klantenzodat ze niet een heel weekend gefrustreerd aan her resetten zijn. Maar ik ben weer Big SmileBig Smile dat het werkt. We moeten er maar mee leren leven Wink

I understand that must be frustrating.

Are you sure you have the latest software version?

When you say “ Moment restarts every 2 minutes”, what happens on the screen?

I think the general opinion (including mine) is that the latest version has made Moment a really stable product.

It has been reletavily stable from April till saturday. Minor issues like left or right speaker signal-loss not included. These things are solved in a few restarts. Yes I have the latest version , its updated automatically and I checked manually for the latest. Racio is working perfct, apps on the phones and ipads too. But the Moment jams every time I trie a new artist in the collection. Its working now slightly better since 9:00. Some artists are working, others jam and than screen is black and restarts untill I choose an artist that jams again....Whistle

I see.

When you write "try new artist in the collection" that is you collection on your NAS or are you referring to Deezer?

In Deezer. Only have a Moment and apps on my phone and ipads. It looks like a Deezer/moment communication problem. Some artists in collection are working perfect now. Other artists (also the ones that are favorites for more than a year, so not recent ones) are not working. When I select those artists and try an album the restart of the Moment begins... As if only a part of my collection is installed on the Moment. But with the app those artists are working great. Unsure
