Hi,

I just added 2 lights in a bedroom form Hue. Imported the scene. First Setup was done by a technician, I am simply adding lights.

Setup was Garage - Hue light x- Light dimmer - 1 (Address from 1-9)

Now adding

Childsroom - Hue light x+1-Light dimmer - 10

I did import the resource and the address it gives is 'streaming' so just changed it to the next number 10

What am I doing wrong? It simply does not work.

Thanks Chucky

This is really not OK, had to log in and push commands like debug etc... it should be simple.

Got it working though.

From Beovision to doorbel...all B&O what rings.

I’ve noticed this as well. Had to manually input an ID for each dimmer or they wouldn’t respond.

Hey Chucky, can you pickup these commands on the BLGW directly from the switch?

No, the switches work stand alone, they do not have an ir or are visable in the Hue bridge. I think you can even prgram them without the hue bridge, I did put them in the bridge but when I launch an Api I do no see them.

Workaround could be to set the lights, program in the switch amd then save the scenario on the hue bridge. I did program my beo 4”s in every room and have full control and an ipad with the beolink 2 app.

Still in the in hunt to get my lutron in the living and kitchen going, bought an rs232 interface on eBay yesterday.Lets have a Party !!! got it cheap so let”s hope it works.

How do you setup the switches with the hue bulbs then?

Cheers

Chris

You pair them by linking the 50cm per bulb and push 2 buttons. Not really very easy but it is really set and forget. Only difference with Hue is you can use max 10 bulbs per switch, in my case not a problem as I only use them in the bedrooms. For the living I use lutron. If I had te rewire I would have used lutron as this is also not really cheap.

When I want all lights off I have a macro in the gateway on a beo 4. Light and then 99. Works fine.

I was thinking, what happens if you push a command on the lutron switcht say in my example a 3000 series on an interface. I have nothing attached through wires just the switch and the interface, will the gateway pick up the command and can you then program a macro on the gateway sending a scene to the Hue?
