Hi all! I need your opinion about the most esthetic position of BS 9000:

- stand

- wall - horizontal

- wall - vertical?

I must confess that I changed my mind from stand to wall vertical and now to wall horizontal.

Am I mad?

Quite.

The only sensible solution is the floor stand.

Cool

No doubt about it. : on the wall, horizontal. :)

The most beautiful Hi-Fi item ever created; and, even in the M.O.M.A. it's on the wall :),just for reference.

I have two bs9000's. One on the stand and the other horizontal on the wall. Both my wife and I find it easier to load the horizontal one. Also I think that being horizontal the lid keeps the workings more dust free.

my preference is vertical...depends on the room, I have seen on a wall and if there is nothing else there it looks great. Otherwise the vertical stand looks fantastic (which is what I have).

mine is vertical on the wall. I would never trust a stand ;-)

So far :

- 2 people agree with me: WALL HORIZONTAL

- 1 is for " insanity = anything else than stand"

- 2 for WALL VERTICAL

Waiting more opinions:) I think that BS 9000 owners are a lot more than 5 and their strong feelings are welcomed!

You're all wrong, or stark-raving nutters.  Upright Table-stand is clearly the way the Lord intended it to be.

Wall horizontal! The only one I ever used, no matter what apartment or house I lived in.

- The text is easy to read

- Comfortable to change CDs

- No floor impacts

- Easy to hide cables (drill!)

I would say - if you take the time to hide the cables - wall horizontal.

If you dont have the time or energy to hide the cables - floor stand..

I have mine on the floor stand vertical, but could see myself change to a vertical wall mount

No brainer...

Vertical wall mounted with hidden cables on an otherwise uncluttered wall.

Any other option is pure folly!

had the Beosound 9000 for years...

First horizontal on the wall, then replaced vertical on the wall. Preferd vertical, was less 90'is style, more classic.
