Hi, I have a Beocenter 2300 which I have recently connected to a Beolab 3500 link speaker using a 1611 converter, it works well and sounds great.

As i'm using the Aux port from the Beocenter 2300 to the converter, using a 7 pin datalink cable, then masterlink to the Beolab 3500. How can I connect a 3.5mm aux input to play through the speaker?? as there is no other Aux input to the Beocenter or Beolab units??

Any help would be appreiciated.

Paul.

Hi Paul

Three years later...

I am trying to achieve a similar result to you. However my converter is a 1614? I have masterlink from the 3500 into one end of the converter. The other end has two 7pin din sockets marked aux audio link and power link. Connecting either of these to the aux socket on the 2300 produces no link/sound.....

Using a beo4 the 3500 responds to the CD command with CD in the display but then vanishes. I have the a.opt on the 2300 set to 0

Any help or advice would be fabulous

Many thanks

Mark
