Hi, I have big troubles with the Philips hue integration to the blgw. I have take a firmware update to the hue bridge to 1802201122 and now the bridge is rebooting if I control the light with the beolink app (or beo4 lights commands). Sometimes the bridge reacts but most the time not. If I disconnect the network to the blgw the hue system is working with the hue app without rebooting. Any similar errors?

Blgw 1.5.3.230

Hue 1802201122

30 hue lamps

thanks beoandy

yes, firmware 1804201116 is the new one, but for now not in all countries. before i have Firmware 1801260942 everything works fine with the blgw.

I've been holding off on updating for fear of issues like this. Once concern with the new Hue app is that it adds 30 new light scenes. The bridge and bulbs have a limit as to how many light scenes they can store in the memory. If you exceed that limit, you run the risk of losing some scenes that can be triggered by the BLGW until you trigger those saved scenes directly from the Hue app.

hi jeff!

okay, this weekend i will test with a new bridge with firmware 1802201122 only with 2 hue lamps. perhaps the connection to the blgw is more stably. i would have never update the firmware - never touch a running system....

Update:

yesterday I delete all the lamps in the hue bridge, reset the bridge, delete the hue driver in the blgw and start from the begin. This time I start with two hue bridges an split the 30 hue lamps room by room. And in the end all is working like it should.(much faster and reliable reaction of the laps)

But, now I don´t know where was the problem. To much lamps, sensors and rules in for one hue bridge? A problem in the firmware of the hue bridge or blgw?  A failed update in the hue bridge or blgw?

Lets have a Party !!!

Hi Beoandy,

I run 21 lights without any problems. Got 20 scenes in on Hue. If you are worried, you van always use a second bridge, I use Fibaro and Lutron as wel in my setup, combined with a macro they all turn on and of simultaniously. Must say that Fibaro is the best with led.
