Hello,

I've been having this problem with my Beosound 3000 type 2671 that it won't play sound, neither from the headphones or from my penta speakers. On the display of my penta speaker i see all the commands that i do, so i know that they work.

I use the beo4 remote controller, and it works as it should.

The previous owner had it connected to the TV, so i have changed the settings of a.opt to "1" so it is a standalone unit, but i still had no luck getting it to play sound.

Is there some setting that im missing?

Is it possible to do a factory reset?

Is there no sound from any function,eg radio,cd or aux?

Option programming shouldn't have any effect on signal routing,

The powerlink and headphone outlets share a common source,so it seems there is a  fault in the pre-amp or function select area's.These are controlled by voltage switching or data,so no easy answer!

You may need help from someone with B&O repair expertise.Do you have a Dealer nearby, with service facilities?

I have now changed the pre-amp board, and it works great!

Thanks for the tip.
