Hi all, have a good read (if you could bothered) through some comments from real case, the finish is brilliant and Ebay is now reported for failure to protect sellers (again):
Q: HiI have just won this item and was trying to pay for it only to find that once again I have a problem with Paypal. They are havering about £1.22 (I haven't a clue what it is about or how to resolve the matter which at the moment they are quoting to get back to me in 24 hours. From a recent past experience with paypal, it took over 3 WEEKS for them to resolve the problem.Out of courtesy, I thought that I should let you know, so that you can take the opportunity to re-list the item if you wish in the meantime. I expect that in the long run they will solve the problem and issue me with an apologh but that is of no use to you at this time.Whatever decision you take, I apologise for my part and if possible I shall complete the sale via paypal.
A: I've had bad experience with Paypal and can appreciate that, but to understand - you're saying that you haven't got money to proceed because it was blocked by PayPal and want to commence or want to cancel of the purchase all together?Alternatively you can pay via Western Union, Money Gram or bank transfer - I don't like Paypal for their lax ways and extortionate fees, either way let me know without delay.
Q: I do have the money but paypal wont do the transfer at the moment. I can complete the sale as soon as paypal release my account but I am giving you the opportunity to cancel and carry on as I note from your listing that your needs are somewhat urgent.I am sorry about this as it is the 2nd time in a month that they have suspended my account for daring to queery them! I am pretty sceptical of Western Union etc and reluctntly have to go with the eventual paypal method.
A: I've to say I won't go for it - people are suspicious of re-listed items (and it has been re-listed previously due non-payment or fail to pick up), despite it doesn't help me in any way, sell of it isn't urgent, but I want make sure it'll won't create more problems than joy. At this moment I have no joy no resolution. You can make payment to: xxxxxxxxx, Co-operative xxxxxxx, account xxxxxxx and I will post of the item once the payment clears. Otherwise - shall I be forced to re-list it'll result in strike.
Shall you be that unhappy and find joy in bidding on item you're not prepared to pay for I would on the other hand rather to know that, as 1 problem usually results in domino effect and cancel of the transaction (via opened case on eBay - what may and will reflect on your rating etc) to have all done and dusted by the book. I don't insist on sale for the sake of it, this is less than 1/2 of price they're offered for, therefore I'm unwilling make other sacrifices and deal with losses. regardsI
Q: All in all, I think that it would be fairest to you to cancel the transaction. I shall keep an eye on the listing and as soon as paypal sort it out I will bid again. I am quite willing to pay you for it if you can wait till paypal sort this out. If you look at my feedback you will see that up until this week it has been 100% (The idiot who bought the pc this week from me is the cause of my problems). If you have feel that you have to give me a non-paying strike, then that will have to be. I will not make payment direct to a bank account and I would not ask someone to pay me direct to an account.Whatever you decide, I hold no grudge against you, it is just life.Best wishes
A: Sorry I don't feel that you're the right buyer whom appreciate of the item (from look at you feedback and decided to cancel of the transaction, please approve of the request without delay in you interest) without prejudice. all the best
Transaction has been cancelled at this point
Q:Really! What an arrogant little Devonian you are. Your command of the English language is somewhat limited to say the least and you don't think that I would be capable of appreciating a B&O xxxx. Well all I can say is that I am glad that I saw this side of your nature before parting with the money. There are xxs available these days for those who have "Englsh as a second langauge". Perhaps you could get one and play it on your B&O!
Report filled to eBay for suspected fraud and abuse of policies
A:Congrats you've just been reported for second time to eBay for violation of rules - enjoy your short life here and stop harassing me. now, don't you have UKIP meeting to attend....?
Negative feedback on cancelled transaction and from blocked user received - next report filled, feedback replied to and request to remove of the feedback sent to eBay
Q: "UKIP ? UKIP they are too mild matey - it's Hitler Youth for me or nothing else. You are a sad person - if you hadn't started with your remarks, I would probably have bought this when paypal got their act together. Now, all I intend to do is put you on the blocked message list so that I do not have to read your offensive remarks coupled with poor command of spelling and grammar. Go back to whatever you do best with the sheep! Save yourself the trouble of responding because your messages will no longer get through. 2 idiots in one week - must be a record: The other one was foreign too!"
Reported to eBay for harassment and racial abuse
usually stupid and irrelevant reply received from ebay
Report to Police filled against eBay for failure to protect own users
Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did, and it won't spoil you big draw excitement
Don't worry - be Happy
I've only used eBay a few times and I have to say I wasn't very impressed.
I bought an Eddie van halen guitar that turned out to be spray painted red with white sticky tape on it.
total rip off.
Ebay used to be good place to reach lots of people at once, but that is also it's down fall
They care less about sellers protection and only concern seem to be get fees what once more Sellers are expected to pick up
as the saying goes - the system is only as good as it's weakest link
